Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see after login. It provides a real-time overview of market data, your positions, and platform health.

Dashboard Sections​

1. Market Summary​

Displays key indices and breadth data for the current trading session:

  • NIFTY 50 — Spot index price and change
  • BANK NIFTY — Spot index price and change
  • Advance / Decline Ratio — Number of advancing vs declining stocks
  • Top Gainers & Losers — Top 5 movers in equity segment

2. Data Sync Status​

Shows the last successful Bhav Copy download date for:

  • Equity (EQ) segment
  • Futures & Options (F&O) segment

A green indicator means data is up to date. Red means a sync is pending.

3. Recent Trades​

A quick view of the last 5 trades logged in the system with:

  • Symbol, Date, Entry, Exit, P&L

4. Alerts & Notifications​

System notifications including:

  • Bhav copy sync completion messages
  • Background task errors
  • Scheduled maintenance notices

Refreshing Data​

The dashboard auto-refreshes every 60 seconds. You can also manually refresh using the Refresh button in the top-right corner of each card.

Customization​

Placeholder: Dashboard widget customization (drag-and-drop, show/hide panels) is planned for v2.1.
